New year, and Contraction is stronger than ever! Today Pratap is doing his very first live-set in Spain - La Coruna. We wish him good luck and much fun! In a few weeks he will be back in Spain again, playing at the Fabrik-club in Madrid. Hope seeing some photos of it soon.
Many records by us will be relased this year, and we think there will be many nice gigs too. Hope to meet you somewhere! :) For you who live in the area of Linköping/Norrköping, next party will be at Spanky i Linköping, where Erland and Nima will play back to back. Upcoming Chic Sounds release added to the release section. This time it is a split release between Erland Marckwort and Thomas Jaldemark, latter one co-founder of netlabel Thinner.
Chic Sounds started out as a club night in Jönköping. Short time later, the name was also used for a new label. The club as well as the label was run by Johan Bacto, well known label manager, dj and producer. Bacto is still running the Chic Sounds club nights, but the label is at present time run by Erland. Watch out for the upcoming releases! Next in the pipeline is a release by another Contraction member - Nima Khak - showing a different side of his productions skills.
